Clarke After Dark Podcast: Last Call for All Lounge Lizards

I was hired by Teresa Clarke and her husband Allen to write and record an original intro for their true-crime podcast, "the Clarke After Dark Podcast". The program focuses on real-life marital crime stories, so the program has a dark, yet light-hearted vibe to it. As a result, they knew they were looking for a tone that was dark, mysterious, and a little bit of fun, but other than that they had no particular examples for me to go on. My winning pitch was: If I were to compose this, it would sound like Satan has a lounge band that's trying to lure you into hell instead of scaring you away. How do you think it turned out?
