🚀 Howard Day's Untitled Star Wars Fan Film Scene | Original Score by Gus D. Cadle 🎵

I recently had the exciting opportunity to compose the score for a Star Wars fan film scene created by Howie Day. This project is set in the timeline between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, capturing the tense and dangerous reality of the Rebel Alliance as they continue their fight against the Empire.

The Scene & Musical Approach

🚀 Hyperspace Jump & The Rebel Alliance Theme The scene begins with a group of Rebel pilots dropping out of hyperspace, scanning for vulnerable Imperial shipping lanes. To establish a sense of familiarity and adventure, I incorporated the classic Rebel Alliance theme, reinforcing the noble yet risky nature of their mission.

⚠️ An Eerie Discovery As the Rebels explore, they stumble upon a drifting Imperial transport, seemingly abandoned. But something about it doesn’t sit right. To match the shift in tone, I transitioned the music from heroic and hopeful to mysterious and unsettling, using an eerie motif that builds tension and foreshadows an unknown threat.
